Here at SkySlope, our goal is to help you meet the demands of your job as quickly as possible so you can get back to doing what you love—spending time with your clients. The new open escrow tool allows you to expedite your sale by automatically sending an email to your title or escrow contact when you enter your Transaction into SkySlope!

Note: The Open Escrow feature is currently available in the following states: AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NM, NV, OR, PA, TX, UT, WA, WI, & WY

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

1. From the SkySlope home page, you will create a Transaction file. Start by entering the Transaction details, such as the address, purchase price, and buyer and seller contacts.

2. When you arrive at the Escrow contact, you will see a prompt: Get escrow or title started now? Click Yes to get started.

3. After starting the escrow or title process, begin typing the name of your preferred escrow or title contact. You will see matching results from our collection of contacts from Fidelity National Financial (FNF) title companies in available regions. Select a contact from the search results, or manually enter the name and email address of your preferred contact. Then click Continue.

4. On the next screen, the Open Escrow email module will open. In this module, you can:

  • Add/Edit recipients (such as adding your Transaction Coordinator or Admin as a CC)
  • Edit the email message
  • Add any necessary attachments (such as the Purchase Contract)

Once you're satisfied with your email message, click Continue

5. Continue entering the remaining required Transaction details. After you've completed all of the required fields and click Create Transaction, your Open Escrow email will be sent!

After your email is sent, you will land on the Checklist tab where you can submit your documents. Once on the Checklist tab, you will see confirmation that the Open Escrow email has been sent.

If you need to refer back to the email later, you can always go to the Log tab of your Transaction file to find the email. Click on the blue EML OUT link to open the contents of the email.
