Created by Aubrey Finney, Modified on Thu, 1 May at 6:16 AM by Muhammad Harris

If you have sent documents for signatures with SkySlope Forms and all parties have already signed them, have no fear! You can follow the steps below to make minor changes to the documents.

⚠️ Before you proceed, answer these two questions:

  1. Is the envelope in Completed status?
    - If yes, proceed.
    - If no, follow these steps to make changes to your envelope.
  2. Do you need to make minor changes to your envelope?
    - If you only need to make minor changes, such as adding a missing signature or making small changes to the text, this guide is for you. Proceed to the steps below.
    - If you need to make major changes to your envelope, such as selecting different forms or making significant changes to the information on the form, we recommend you start by sending a fresh envelope.

Download Your Current Envelope

To make minor changes to the documents, we will start by downloading the current envelope.

  1. Open your Forms file.
  2. Navigate to the Signed Documents tab.
  3. Locate the envelope you wish to edit.
  4. Click on the More menu.
  5. Select Download. This will save the envelope onto your computer as a PDF.
    - Pay attention to where the document is saved; you will need to locate it in the next step!

Create a New Envelope

Now, you will upload the originally signed documents into the Forms file and use those documents to create a new envelope. In the new envelope, you can make the necessary changes.

  1. Navigate back to your Forms file and go to the Forms tab.
  2. Click Upload Document. Then select the document you just saved to your computer, following the instructions above.
  3. After the upload completes, click Done. Now, a signed copy of the envelope will be added to your Forms file.
    - Tip: The most recently uploaded document will be the last form listed in your Forms file.
  4. Select the form you just uploaded, and click Fill and Send.
  5. On the next screen, you can use Markup Tools to make changes to the document. You can add new text, highlight certain areas, and use strikeout or redaction.
If you don't need to use any of the Markup Tools, you can click Prepare Signature to move to the next step.

  6. When you've made all of the necessary changes with the Markup Tools, click Prepare Signature to move to the next step.
  7. Now you will be taken into DigiSign. In DigiSign, you can use the available tools to make necessary edits, such as adding missing signatures or initials or using the strikethrough tool.
    - Note: When selecting your signers for this envelope, be sure only to include signers who need to take action to complete these particular changes. For example, it might only be one of your two clients, or only yourself.
  8. Once you've finished making your changes, click Send to send the new envelope out for signature!

Once the new envelope is completed, it will be available on the Signed Documents tab with all of the changes!
