Here at SkySlope, we do our best to keep our website as up-to-date as possible. After we release an update, you may need to clear out your internet browser's history to be able to view SkySlope in the best light. This tutorial will walk you through the process of clearing your browser's cache and cookies and reload SkySlope to get you on your way.
Google Chrome
If you're in Chrome, you can clear your cache/cookies by doing the following:
Log out of SkySlope.
- In the upper right-hand corner, click on the 3 dots, and on the drop-down menu, select Clear Browsing Data.
- This will open a new tab, and a pop-up will come up. For the Time Range drop-down menu, select All Time.
- Next, make sure that Cookies and Other Site Data, and Cached images and Files are selected.
- Click on Clear Data in the lower right-hand corner and let it work its magic. Once the data is cleared, you will return to the Settings tab.
- IMPORTANT: Completely close and re-open Chrome to log back into your SkySlope account to ensure the cache is fully cleared.
Mozilla Firefox
If you're in FireFox, you can clear your cache/cookies by doing the following:
Log out of SkySlope.
- In the upper right-hand corner, click on the 3 horizontal bars.
- On the drop-down menu, select Settings.
- When the Settings page opens, navigate to the Privacy & Security section.
- Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section.
- Click on Clear Data. Make sure both the Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content options are selected.
- Click Clear and wait for it to process.
- Completely close and re-open Firefox to log back into your SkySlope account.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
If you're in Internet Explorer, you can clear your cache/cookies by doing the following:
- Log out of SkySlope.
- Then in the upper right-hand corner, click on the Gear (Tools) button.
- On the drop-down menu, select Internet Options near the bottom.
- On the pop-up window, about 2/3 of the way down, under Browsing History, click on the Delete button.
- Uncheck everything on the new window, except for the 2nd and 3rd options which are: Temporary Internet Files and Website Files and Cookies and Website Data.
- Next, click Delete in the lower right-hand corner and let it load for a bit.
Once back on the original window, click on OK and wait for it to say that this has been completed at the bottom. - Completely close and re-open Internet Explorer to log back into your SkySlope account.
Microsoft Edge
If you're in the Edge browser, you can clear your cache/cookies by doing the following:
Microsoft Edge:
- Log out of SkySlope.
- Then in the upper right-hand corner, click on the 3 dots.
- On the drop-down menu, select Settings.
- In the menu on the left, select Privacy, Search and Services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select "Choose what to clear".
- In this new window, set the Time range to “All time” in the drop-down menu, and uncheck everything except for Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.
- Click Clear and wait for the browser to clean these out.
- Completely close and re-open Edge to log back into your SkySlope account.
Legacy Microsoft Edge:
- Log out of SkySlope.
- Then in the upper right-hand corner, click on the 3 dots.
- On the drop-down menu, select Settings.
- On the next drop-down menu, scroll down until you get to the Clear browsing data, and click on Choose what to clear.
- Uncheck everything on this new window, except for Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.
- Click Clear and wait for the browser to clean these out.
- Completely close and re-open Edge to log back into your SkySlope account.
Apple Safari
If you're in Safari, you can clear your cache/cookies by doing the following:
- Log out of SkySlope.
- Click Safari in the upper left-hand corner, then choose Clear History.
- A small pop-up window will open. Use the drop-down menu to select the time range to clear. Select All History.
- Click Clear History.
- Completely close and re-open Safari to log back into your SkySlope account.
