While Skyslope says that the tasks/reminder section can sync with Google and other calendars, it isn't a real sync. First you have to "sync" everytime there is a change or it won't show up in the other calendar, that I can deal with. Second it isn't a true "sync" because it won't take info from the calendar and upload it to Skyslope. At best the 'sync' button should be renamed "download to calendar'
I'd love to see a true sync where something you write in one automatically appears in the other. Or, if not automatic, that syncing will put info in both places regardles of in which program you enterd the information.

This is really substandard. Honestly. Uploading calendars manually using .ics files is cumbersome and unnecessary extra work. This is 2024. You guys can't create a calendar that truly syncs in real time with a Google calendar?

Hi Nichole!
Kylee from the Product team here at SkySlope. You are correct - you'd currently need to continue that import process. I've included a tutorial here for reference. I will be sure to keep you updated here as our Product team makes progress in this area!

I imported my tasks to a google calendar that I created. Will I have to "import" every time a new file is opened and tasks are assigned in order for the calendar to be updated?

Hi Kristina,
Thank you for taking the time to share your suggestion with us. I can certainly understand that we could use some improvement in this area! In what scenario(s) would you want to pull in information from your Gmail calendar and upload it to Skyslope? How much time do you feel this would save you?
In the meantime, I have documented this feedback, and I will monitor this post for likes and upvotes.
