Duplicate a listing

We have several developments.  We keep the master listing file in SS.  When we get a transaction on one of the lots, I have to start a whole new listing, and then transfer the docs from the original to the new one - when essentiallyl ALL the listing information is the same it would be easy to just duplicate the listing file.  Soooooooo time consuming.  If duplication can't be done, could you possibly have a new type of listing for this scenario, a "Master" listing, with all transactions somehow filed under it?

- A single listing with multiple transactions attached?

would be ideal for when the market is hot and we have multiple offers for one listing.

- Multiple listings with shared listing documentation and each converting to their own transaction?

This would be ideal for when your listing a Project and represent the developer, the documents are the same and only the unit changes. not having to reattach the documents would be a time saver

I have seen many suggestions that have asked for this. Can they all be merged together? What is the status on this. All suggestions are 1-4 years old.

IMO, the best case scenario would be to have an option to duplicate chosen documents to go along with the listing duplicate(s).  An option for multiple transactions for one listing would be nice, but in the case of something larger like a development, I suspect that would become cumbersome and more difficult to track quickly in Skyslope with larger developments.  I could see it working well for a home on a large lot of land where there is the option to purchase all,  just the home lot, or just the land lot.

Hi Shirley!

Ryan from Product here at SkySlope.

This all makes sense to me. Question for you though - it sounds as though the listing documentation is for the entire development, and not per unit correct? While your suggestion of duplication makes a lot of sense it sounds like the pain point primarily is the moving of files.

If you could choose the ideal, what would it look like?

- A single listing with multiple transactions attached?

- Multiple listings with shared listing documentation and each converting to their own transaction?
