Important Details
- You can duplicate a file in any status. Whether the file is Active, Pending or Closed, you can still use the duplicate file tool! However, all duplicated files will be Incomplete until all of the data is filled out. Then, if necessary, those files can be changed to the proper status (Canceled, Closed, etc.).
- Contacts won't be duplicated. After your file is duplicated, be sure to fill out the Contacts page to ensure the proper individuals are listed in the file.
- Documents won't be duplicated. After your file is duplicated, you will need to ensure any documentation you need is added to your file.
