There are two different ways to share files in SkySlope Forms. In this article, we will introduce the two different types and best practices for using each. Let's dive in!
Individual vs. Group
Individual File Sharing: Set up and managed by the user, allowing users to share their Forms files with another Forms user. Available for all SkySlope Forms users.
Group File Sharing: Set up and managed by the brokerage, allowing the brokerage to create groups of users and grant any number of users in that group access to Forms files for the entire group. Only available for brokerages utilizing Broker Edition.
Individual File Sharing
Individual file sharing allows one Forms user to grant access to another user. Sharing access allows one user to create and manage Forms files and envelopes on the other person's behalf. For example, this is a "one-to-one" relationship between an Agent and a TC or between Co-Agents. The individual granted access can assist with any task in the other user's account except editing Forms Templates, editing selected Forms Libraries, and editing the User Profile. The individual sharing access can terminate that access at any time.

Group File Sharing
Managed by the brokerage, group sharing allows a wider variety of sharing configurations. There is no change in the access level or information shared, but groups can be customized to fit the brokerage's needs better. For example, a brokerage can connect an Agent and their TC; five agents and two TCs; Co-Agents with full editing access; or a team of six Agents all sharing file ownership.
Within the group, the brokerage can determine which individuals can access other individuals' files. The individual granted access can assist with any task in the other user's account except editing Forms Templates, editing selected Forms Libraries, and editing the User Profile. The admin(s) managing access can terminate that access at any time.
