In our efforts to continue to incorporate all of the tools our users need into the SkySlope system, we've created the SkySlope CDA Generator! We've built a tool that takes information that has already been entered into a SkySlope transaction file, and uses it to generate a PDF of the Commission Disbursement Authorization. Take a look at the resources below to learn about how it works.
Before you review the instructions below, ensure you're reviewing the instructions for the correct version of the CDA Generator that is available in your account:
- Legacy CDA Generator: The Legacy CDA Generator is available for any SkySlope brokerage that has chosen to have it enabled. One standard CDA form is available in the legacy CDA Generator.
- Custom CDA Generator: The Custom CDA Generator is available for brokerages that have a custom CDA form for their brokerage. The brokerage can provide the Custom CDA and the SkySlope Customer Success Manager can enable the Custom CDA workflow.
Take a look at these screenshots to see which version is available in your account:

Using the Legacy CDA Generator
- Open the SkySlope Transaction file.
- Navigate to the Commission tab.
- In the upper right corner, click Generate CDA.
- In the pop-up window, enter the mailing address for the title or escrow company that is handling commission distribution.
- Scroll to the bottom, where you can enter any applicable payouts.
- When done adding payouts, click Create CDA.
- You will see a green success message in the upper right corner. The CDA has been generated and is available on the Documents tab of the Transaction file.
Using the Custom CDA Generator
- Open the SkySlope Transaction file.
- Navigate to the Commission tab.
- In the upper right corner, click Create CDA.
- In the window that opens, you will be able to fill out the CDA document. Any relevant details from the property file will autofill when available.
- After you've completed the CDA, click Save & Exit in the bottom right. This will generate the CDA as a PDF and add it to the Documents tab of the property file.
