Created by Aubrey Finney, Modified on Thu, 1 May at 6:18 AM by Muhammad Harris

As a real estate agent, you spend most of your time building relationships with your clients, whether listing their current property or helping them find the perfect home. We're here to provide you with our top insider hacks to help you get the most out of SkySlope so that you can get in, get out, and get back to the work that matters. Hopefully, these tips will help you optimize your workflow and make you love SkySlope even more.

1. Create Custom Folders on the Documents Tab

You can create and name folders on the Documents tab of a Transaction file. Separate folders will allow you to organize documents in a way that makes sense to you, whether that's a folder of backup offers, a collection of fully executed documents, or disclosures. Learn more about creating custom folders.

2. Assign Docs to the Checklist from the Documents Tab

While we're on the Documents tab, did you know that you can assign documents to the Checklist from here?! From the Documents tab, simply select the document(s) you want to assign to the Checklist. Then click Assign, and select the Checklist item to assign them to!

⭐Bonus Tip: Documents with a paperclip icon ? on the Documents tab are already assigned to the Checklist.

3. Download Multiple Docs on the Documents Tab

Another one for the Documents tab... This one will save you lots of repetitive clicks! If you have multiple docs on the Documents tab you need to save to your computer, you can download a bunch of them at once! Just check the box to select the documents you want to save, and then click Download Files. The documents will be downloaded as a bundled-together zip file. Learn more about downloading documents and using zip files!

4. Upload via Drag and Drop

This is another huge time saver: upload documents using the "drag and drop" method. Rather than clicking Upload, locating your document, selecting your document, and clicking Upload again, you just simply drag the document right into your SkySlope window, and it will upload automatically! You can upload via drag and drop anywhere that you can upload documents (Working Docs, on your Checklist, into a DigiSign envelope, etc.).

⭐Bonus Tip: The biggest time saver of all is to drag a document right into a Checklist item to assign it to the Checklist.

5. Filter Checklist Items by Status

This tool is incredibly helpful when keeping up with the action items on your Checklist. You can use the status filter to view only Checklist items with a specific status. For example, select Required to see which documents you are still required to submit.

6. Email into Your Property File

If you are tired of having to save documents from your email inbox to your computer just to be able to upload them into SkySlope, then this one is for you! In SkySlope, each Listing and Transaction file has its own email address. Any documents sent to that address will automatically be uploaded onto the Documents tab of your property file!

⭐Bonus Tip: The contents of the email will also be available on the Log tab! Learn more about emailing documents into your property file.

7. Email into Your Working Docs

Similar to emailing into a property file (shown above), you can email into the Working Documents section of your SkySlope account. This is helpful for when the document you need to email into SkySlope doesn't pertain to a Listing or Transaction file yet. For example, if you have a buyer agency agreement to send with DigiSign, but don't have a Transaction created for those buyers just yet.

To locate your Working Docs email, click on your name in the upper right corner and then select My Account. On the Personal Information tab, you will see an @skyslope.com email address that is unique to your account. Any documents sent to that email address will automatically be uploaded into your Working Docs.

8. One-Click File Download

If you need to save or share all of the documents from a Listing or Transaction file, you can do so in just one click! This feature is available for Archived and Canceled files. Simply navigate to Access Archives or Canceled Contracts. From the Download menu, select All Documents or Checklist Documents. All of the documents in that file will be downloaded and available in a zip file!

This allows us to ensure SkySlope transaction management and forms products will always be here to help you manage your business. In a nutshell, keep your computer and internet browsers up-to-date, and it'll be smooth sailing!
