If there is a document in your SkySlope Listing or Transaction file that you want to attach to your Checklist, but that document isn't available after clicking Attach, have no fear! There is a simple solution.
Attaching a Document
First, here is a quick review of how to attach a document to the Checklist:
- Open your SkySlope Listing or Transaction file.
- Navigate to the Checklist tab.
- Locate the item on the Checklist where you'd like to attach your doc.
- Click Attach.
After you click Attach, you will see a list of documents. This list of documents only includes those not already attached to the Checklist. If you don't see the document you want to attach on this list, that is because it is already attached to the Checklist somewhere else.
Determining Where the Document is Already Attached
Here's a general rule of thumb: An uploaded document can only be assigned to one Checklist item at a time. Once assigned, that document cannot be attached to any other Checklist item. To find out which Checklist item contains the document you're looking for, head over to the Documents tab. Locate that document, and then locate the paperclip icon next to that document. Hover your cursor over the paperclip to see the name of the Checklist item that the document is attached to.
Moving a Document to a Different Checklist Item
If you have Document A attached to Checklist Item A, but you want to move it to Checklist Item B, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Documents tab.
- Locate the document you want to move.
- Check the box to select that document.
- Click on Assign at the top of the documents list.
- Use the drop-down to select the new Checklist destination.
You will see this message: "This document has already been assigned to another checklist item. By clicking Assign, you will reassign this document to this new checklist item." - Click Assign to confirm you want to relocate the document.
Remove a Checklist Attachment
