Adding a Co-Agent

We are new to SkySlope and are absolutely loving it so far! We have noticed one thing out of place when adding a Co-Agent to a file. When one of our agents goes to add a Co-Agent and clicks in the box to type the other agents name it does not search our agent base. We are finding that we are having to click on the "Add" button first to be able to search our agent base. Is this how it is supposed to work? I would think it would be more efficient and more logical from a UX standpoint to be able to search the agent base from the box before clicking the "Add" button.

Hi there, I came across this thread and wanted to add my support to the request!

For "In the point you bring up, you would prefer to search for the name and have the add button act as a save button, is that correct?" - this would be fantastic!

I've had several new-to-Skyslope agents run into this issue and think they are unable to add anyone to the file, or say that "nothing comes up" when they try to search. Making this change as quoted would streamline the UX here and eliminate a point of frustration/confusion.

Hey Jessey,

Taylor Grossman and I spoke about this on our weekly call last week and I gave her some feedback from a User Experience standpoint.

I pointed out that maybe the "Add" button should be blue by default so that agents know they need to click on that first. Right now it seems like the "Add" button is not active until you have a name in the box. I also suggested that when you click in the search box that the option to search there be disabled as well so that it doesn't seem like you can search for an agent before clicking the "Add Button".

Thank you!

Agent

Hey Robert!

Thanks for taking the time to provide us feedback. By design, you will first need to click the ADD button to the right of the Co-Agent field. Then you will be able to type the first few letter of their name, then the database will search for a match and you can select the agents name from the dropdown that appears. Then click Save to add the changes.

In the point you bring up, you would prefer to search for the name and have the add button act as a save button, is that correct?
