Remove Documents When Preparing For Signature

When I am preparing a large file to send for Signature, and I see a document that I don't want, there is no way to remove it during the prepare signature feature.  In Docusign, if I want to remove a disclosure while preparing for signature, I can just delete the document and carry on.  In Forms, I have to start over if I don't want that document in the envelope.  When I am 80 pages deep and discover an error and have to start over, I want to cry...

I am shocked to see this basic request has gone unchanged for over 2 years.  We are trying to work within 1 system and not need to login to Docusign or Authentisign, but this basic feature in the other platforms makes it hard to do my job in Digisign.  Having to use a pdf editor to remove a document in the middle of a 100 page disclosure package is one more step that causes a reduction in productivity.  This really should be moved to the front of the line!

How is this not something that is on the roadmap for the next 6 months? It is so needed and such a basic feature in everyone's opinion. Really wish exp would switch over to something more user friendly.

Hi Sara,

Tyler from the Product team here at SkySlope. This is not yet part of the roadmap for the next 6 months, but we might consider this in the future. However, we are working on a couple of exciting other features that may help alleviate some concerns.

Hey guys are you going to do something about this? I find it pretty bad that Realtors have asked for this feature and nothing has happened and all. Please do not respond with a generic response.

I also just googled how to remove a document from an established envelope and am very disappointed to see that this is not an option. I can't believe that 2 years after the first post this is still an issue?

Agreed with all of the above. I found this page because I literally googled, "Can I delete (remove/replace/add) a document from a SkySlope envelope". It's incredibly frustrating, but more importantly we are losing efficiency in the process. The envelope has not been sent for signatures and should absolutely still be able to be manipulated and edited.

I cannot think of one time that I was preparing a file where I didn't need to add or remove a document from a signing package.  It literally happens with every file.  Maybe not every signing package, but definitely with every transaction.  And I have two choices:  1.  Start Over (Grrrrrr....), or 2.  Send another DigiSign. (Client gets Grrrrrr.....).  Please address this issue.  Thank you!

I agree with Ryan. Our agents have been asking for this option from Day 1 of us using Skyslope and are very frustrated that something as simple as this takes so long to get reviewed or changed. This should be a no brainer and I know DocuSign and Authentisign both have this as an option.

This can happen on 50% of the transactions easily. All of a sudden you remember you want to include another document and you have to start from the beginning. It's extremely time consuming.

For your customers we want to send everything in one document to sign rather than sending them numerous documents. When you send multiple documents to them, they often miss them in their inbox so you have to continually send them reminders. The easiest way is to send them all documents in one folder.

If I am selling or listing a Washington property, the amount of files and documents needed to send is cumbersome. They have a new document for each part of the transaction therefore if you miss one of them, you have to start over. By starting over, there is a likelihood you will forget another one when you go recreate the file.

If we added the ability to add documents or remove them after the file is made it would make our lives much easier and save a ton of time.

Hi Ryan and Eva!

Thanks for leaving this feedback! Bailey from the Product team here, how often do you find yourself needing to remove a form once you have taken it into DigiSign?

Thanks!

I would love for this solution to be added. I can't find that it's been changed yet.

100% AGREE!  Why was this not thought of already and seems like such a basic feature that should be a no-brainer for programmers to have included?
