a person must sign for an entity to be lawful

Digisign has it automated that the signature of an "entity" is the entity name.  It needs to be the representative.   As one attorney told me, "An entity can't hold a pen [to sign], only a person can."

Hi Wendy!

Charleigh from the Product team here at SkySlope. Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. Improvements to entity signers is something that is on our team's radar. We will be sure to keep you up to date on any progress! In the meantime, as a workaround, you are able to change the seller's name once to the DigiSign step. After clicking prepare signature, you can edit the names of signers. This won't change how the information on the forms is presented, only the signatures.

Another solution we recommend  is advising the signer to change their name when signing. When they are prompted to choose a signature, they can also make edits to their name.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Support team anytime! They can be reached via chat at support.skyslope.com, via email at [email protected], or via phone at 1-800-507-4117.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!
