I love the Skyslope products! But I've encountered a number of issues that would be great if they can be addressed. I'm in Sacramento and a member of the MetroList MLS for reference. I'd be happy to have a video chat or meet in person if these notes aren't exactly clear. Thank you.
Issues with Skyslope Forms:
When you input the MLS number and it pulls the address, it’s always adding a duplicate word at the end of the address. For instance, my last file came out as “9 Meadowmont Court Court” and it seems to do that consistently.
The APN doesn’t automatically fill out when you link to an MLS number. Ideally, it’d fill out right when you link to the MLS, but if you’re not able to pull that info a box or reminder letting you know it’s been left blank would be helpful. It’s easy to forget thinking it pulled automatically.
Automatically add in the addendums when you click a box. E.G. when you click the box electing to not have a inspection contingency, the CR form should pop up automatically in the file.
When I edit a form in the file and want to leave, it always saves as an envelope. So if I go back to edit it multiple times I get a number of envelopes. Can you please make it so you don’t need to save changes in an envelope but just to the file?
When you go to send the envelope for signature, the subject of the email is “you have documents to sign” Can you change it so it automatically makes it the name of the envelope? Or make it an option in case people want to keep it as is?
It would be nice to be able to convert a forms file into a transaction without having to re-input all of the same information that it has already from filling out the file.
Similarly, when you create a new form, it’d be nice if it pulled from your contacts/past client names so you don’t have to input your client names and dig up their emails each time.
This may be on me, but it seems that whenever I fill out a form it’ll remember some of my info but not all of it. For instance, I usually have to reenter my brokerage license number. Likewise, it doesn’t seem to pull the listing agent’s brokerage license number.
There’s a missing buyer’s agent signature box on on page. 16 of the RPA. (under 5.A)
When you input the percentages on the RPA form for the loan amount, for instance, it doesn’t automatically calculate the amount. That would be a nice feature to add. For instance, if the purchase price is $500,000 and you put the loan amount 80%, it’d be ideal to have it automatically calculate the $400,000 loan amount.
When you add an addendum that references the purchase agreement date, it’d be nice if it automatically referenced the date on the RPA so you don’t have to go back and find it to enter it.
On page. 1 section 2 of the RPA, the boxes should be radio buttons. There shouldn’t be the option to click both boxes saying the buyers agent (or seller) brokerage represents both the buyer and seller and also only the buyer. Also, the dual agency buttons should be tied together, if you click one it should change it for the other.
For the templates, even after I’ve saved the template as the most recent version of the RPA. When I reopen it after logging out and back in, it has a notice saying there’s a newer version of the form available.

These are all such important requests! Also, please consider fixing the APN here in California (MLSListings). For instance, in our case, the APN does auto-populate but without the dash. SkySlope uploads the APN from MLS as 052202006000 which is confusing. The correct way should be 052-202-006-000 (with the dash).

Plus 1 on the listing agents office brokerage number - its in the MLS listing but doesn't come over to the RPA. In addition, their office address does not come over either.
Plus 1 on the loan amount AND this should include the EMD as well. Sometimes, my buyer tells me they want to put $20,000 EMD - then I have to enter the percentage. If they want to put $20,000 I shouldn't have to pick up the calculator and risk making a mistake. It should also work that if I enter "3%" it automatically calculates the dollar amount.
I'll "plus 1" anything that saves me time or prevents mistakes.

I agree with the comment "When I edit a form in the file and want to leave, it always saves as an envelope. So if I go back to edit it multiple times I get a number of envelopes. Can you please make it so you don’t need to save changes in an envelope but just to the file?" I find the creation of multiple envelopes very confusing when saving. I don't think it should become an envelope until after the documents are sent out to be signed.
