It would be a HUGE time saver if SkySlopes/DigiSign allowed us to make changes/corrections to forms after an envelope has been created without losing all of the place holders for signatures. Not every form that we are sending is an auto-populated form with signature fields automatically popping up. Often times we are uploading forms not generated by ourself within SkySlope. We then go through and add signature/initial/date fields. But if we realize something needs to be corrected (as we're going through the forms and putting in the signature/initials), we need to start over. DocuSign allows you to save the envelope (which includes saving where you've manually put signature/initial/date fields) retrieve and replace documents with corrected versions or even add a missing document, without losing any of the manual signature fields you've put in. It's a huge time saver. I can't tell you how many times I realize, only after going through and ensuring signatures are in the right spot, that I've forgotten just one form, or I've caught a typo in this final review prior to sending. OR, what also happens a lot is that the forms are sent out and a client wants to make a change....with DocuSign, you could just copy the envelope that was sent and replace the corrected document, saving all of the time of manually placing signatures/initials where needed.

I can't believe this doesn't have more upvotes and hasn't been sorted out yet. This is probably the single most important feature/functionality that needs to be added to make this work. From the comments, I don't believe the developers quite understand what we are saying. The correct envelope feature that has been added is great if you made a mistake with an email and need to correct the envelope and resend. However, this is not the feature we are looking for. We add 10, 15, 20 etc. forms sometimes to an envelope. We fill them all out. We review them, everything looks good. Send for signatures. Now we are reviewing each page, because despite the pre-populated initials/signatures, they often either miss places or have signatures/initials in places we don't need them. Spend a bunch of time reviewing each page to make sure signatures etc. are all in the right places and double or triple checking your work. Then you get to page 15 of your 20 page document and realize there is an incorrect date. Instead of being able to quickly zip back into the forms and fix it, we now have to delete the envelope, back into forms, fix the date, re-add all those forms to create new envelope, re-sort them so they are in the proper order, start initial/signature review over at page one. Get to page 17 on second run through and realize there is a mistake on a condition. FML. Start over again. Start wondering if writing the offer out by hand the old fashion way might be quicker.
Most of the functionality of Skyslope Forms, though a bit of a learning curve, works very well... This one oversight makes all the other things that work well for nothing. You need to fix this! I think the last comment from Tyler at Prod Squad is getting closer to what is needed... but the correct envelope is still after you have actually sent the document for signing. What we need is the ability to quickly fix forms once we have hit the send for signature button and it takes you to the next area for adding initials/dates/signatures etc., but still prior to actually sending to client for signatures.

Tyler from the Product team here at SkySlope. If I am correctly understanding what you are referring to, once the envelope is in the "correcting" state you should be able to edit fields. However I will document your feedback around the ability to add or remove forms/documents.

RequesterThe forms should be able to be saved without having to select "save and exit" that is an unnecessary exit loop that slows down the process. Zio forms allows us to save the document at any point in time without needlessly exiting the form!
The forms should be able to be edited anytime, especially just before sending on digisign.

When you say change the form/create a document, do you mean within the envelope after sending for signature (ie: editing a text field that has been added to a form in the "Prepare Signature" step) or within the form itself (ie: adjusting text within the prepopulated boxes in Forms)? I am trying to update my aos after getting to a great selling price and I see that I cant just change the form like I could in dotloop. I don't understand why this feature is not available. It is not an efficient use of time to create a document all over for one box. I agree with the comments above and I hope we fix this quickly because at this point I am going to pay extra for dotloop just get some a simple task done. Its takes longer than it should to prepare paperwork. Why?!! when there is technology that can do this in 2022?
