New Buyer Agreements Function Needs Work

This post is from a reviewing broker’s point of view:

Why are the contracts our agents are entering into with buyers residing in the Forms app? Why don’t I see these docs to review with all the other documents I have to review?

Why is there no ability to not approve a document and send my agent a message that their doc wasn’t approved and why? Because what I’m seeing is a lot of transaction documents that should be posted to a transaction file, but for some reason are sitting in the Buyer Agreements section.

Why doesn’t the buyer rep function work like the seller rep function? Why isn’t this set up so an agent has a client, sets up a client file, and then at some point adds a transaction file—just like when we represent sellers?

We need a checklist for working with buyers, just like we do for when our agents are working with sellers.

Also, there’s no way to group the agents so that managing brokers can tell which agents are theirs to review. We have to physically eyeball each agent.

Eric here, from the Product team at SkySlope! Thank you all for providing feedback. Our team has been listening and we are actively working on a solution to this problem. We anticipate this solution will launch in August. We've begun communicating this broadly to our customers in-app and via email. Additional details as well as registration for learning sessions will follow in the coming weeks.

If you'd like to get a preview of the new experience and provide feedback, please schedule some time with me using this link!

This post is spot on.  The Buyer Agency portion lacks many features we need to be compliant.  There should also be an upload feature for those who are having them wet-signed.  This needs to be enhanced quickly so we can be compliant.

1000% agree! The forms solution is a non-solution for Brokers (for at least those that have medium to large Brokerages) and feels functionally illogical. The fact that there is no reject option, way to comment or communication option makes this a useless feature. I agree with those above. It should be part of Skyslope Suites and be set up just like a listing file. Buyer Agreements also have addendums, notes, communication logs, ect. The current set up isn't sufficient.

Skyslope doesn't appear to be replying to these posts which is very frustrating. This is a feature that must be added with the NAR changes.

We have been asking for this functionality for years as we have had buyer agreements for a very long time. We need a new buyer file that is just like a listing file where we can have our agents be able to add buyer agreements to be reviewed and then, once the buyer goes under contract, to be able to convert it to a transaction. It seems like it should be really straightforward as the system is already in place on the listing side.

Or maybe I’m misunderstanding how this function works. I would be interested in hearing from other managing brokers.
