Assign a File based on Broker/Manager/Auditor vs Office

It would be very helpful if there was a way to assign files based on Auditor/Broker vs Office. For example, we have several agents in Office A, however, the broker or manager who reviews the files is not licensed in one of the jurisdictions so we have to have the broker or manager in Office B review the files for that jurisdiction. We have been adding the broker/manager as the co-op broker as a workaround however, it would be a lot of help and easier on our auditors if there was a way to assign the file so that the broker/manager in Office A did not see the files for the jurisdictions that they can not review. The broker/manager in Office B could see the ones that they needed to review even if the agent was not assigned to their specific office.

I am happy to explain further and give more examples. As a company with agents in multiple jurisdictions, this is an issue that comes up a lot. Having a way to streamline review for managers would save so much time and cleanup.

Hi Mickey!

Tyler from the Product team here at SkySlope. Yes we just released our Manual Reviewer Assignment feature! At this time you cannot assign a default reviewing broker for each agent but I will document this and pass this along to the Product Manager in charge of this feature!

Our support team put together this article outlining the feature as well if there are any questions! https://support.skyslope.com/hc/en-us/articles/22849638955547-Filter-by-File-Reviewer

Thank you!

Hey! Just saw the Reviewer Filter—very nice! Is there a way to assign agents a default reviewing broker so they don’t have to choose their reviewing broker every time, or so we can add a reviewing broker to all an agent’s transactions without having to go through each one individually?

Yeah, this would be very helpful. Agents in general are getting less tethered to particular physical offices. Their relationship is really with their managing broker.

Hi.  I'll add to this.  Our Brokerage is in South Carolina.  HOWEVER, we have 35 Agents that also do sales just over the border in North Carolina.  We have a NC Broker that needs to review all the NC Listings and Transactions.  We add him as the Co-Agent so he can have access to the files...but he can't do any approving.  He then has to email US to update the agent on any changes/corrections.  It would be great if he could be assigned as the Auditor/Broker on JUST the NC Files.

To make things MORE confusing...our NC Broker is also a SC Agent (under a SC Broker).  So, we don't want him to be a Auditor and have access to ALL the files.  Hope that makes sense.

Hi Tracey!
Bailey from the Product Team here at SkySlope. Thank you for reaching out and providing us with this feedback, this is very insightful! Are there examples where this could be useful outside of the scenario you've already given? Any other insight would be appreciated!
Thanks again and have a great day!
