Flagging incomplete files in Checklist

It would be nice if when a property was opened under "checklist" (which is what we use 99% of the time) that a pop up or something similar flagged an incomplete file. This would be helpful for communication between front office and back office, as the notes we leave tend to "disappear" under >, which can easily be missed.

For example: If an agent is missing docs in files when it reaches processing, I cannot process until the files have been uploaded and the file is complete. If then the front office or agent uploads the missing docs, if a pop up screen or some kind of red flag was visible, they would know that the file had been marked incomplete by processing, which would trigger them to contact back office to let me know the file is now ready to process.

Would it be beneficial, to receive an email notification once the file is audited and there are incomplete items on the checklist?
Where would you like to see the "flag" located within the transaction screen when the file has incomplete items on the checklist?
