When an agent requests to cancel a file, currently admins have to approve it then reactive it. We should be able to reject the cancellation.

This is a great suggestion. It would make things much easier for the Agents and Brokers. It needs to be implemented.
Thanks

As a Designated Broker, compliance is paramount as we strive to meet real estate department requirements. Hopefully SS views this change as fulfilling its product's purpose to facilitate our compliance. This is an excellent suggestions that needs to be implemented.

I agree! We often have agents submitting a request to cancel a file that either needs to remain open OR needs to be archived, not cancelled. Best case scenario, we are able to click approve but then have to go back to the cancellation section to reopen the file. However, we often run into issues where we approve the cancellation and are unable to reactivate it as the agent has already created a new file or the system does not show an option to reactivate due to other files being open or sharing the address. Agents do not often know the way the system works on the backend and the audit team either spends a lot of time correcting the files or is unable to make the correction at all. If we had the ability to reject the agent's request to cancel, this would solve a lot of issues.

Hi Amy!
Charleigh from the Product Team here at SkySlope. Thank you for reaching out and providing us with this feedback, this makes a lot of sense! I've documented your request and we'll also monitor this post for upvotes and comments. How often would you say that you have to reject cancellations? And is the reasoning typically incomplete documentation? Looking forward to your reply!
