It would be helpful to be able to add a task that doesn't require a due date. I'd like to be able to keep a checklist of sorts for items but only have dates for the time-sensitive ones. I don't want every single task to auto-populate to my calendar. Thanks!

Agreed!!! We can't always predict EXACTLY when a task should/is going to happen and then it sort of clogs the whole task list. I'd actually prefer a more streamlined simple task list without any due dates at all! A simple " Do these tasks.1, 2, 3, 4, 5...." It's too confusing when more than one person is working in the task list AND then completed tasks trigger more tasks.
