How do we get this to show as closed as opposed as expired. You didn't answer the last person's post a year ago on this . Can you make the change??
Thank you,

Please address the EXPIRED status!! It causes unnecessary stress and confusion, especially for new agents. It's even more stressful if/when it occurs on a Friday or weekend.

Hello Macdonald Realty Team!
Charleigh from the Product team here at SkySlope. To prevent a pending transaction from showing as expired, you can update the Closing Date and it will revert the transaction to Pending status. I can still see how there would be confusion and agree that the "Expired" tag could be reserved for Listings. Question for you - if you were to assign a different label for transactions that are past the closing date, what would it be? Looking forward to your reply!
Thank you and have a great day!

Agree the Expired term causes agents to freak out unnecessarily and make extra calls to the office staff, creating extra admin work for all involved. Couldn't it just switch to Pending. Expired sounds like BAD NEWS and should only be for listings that have expired from listing contract date.

I completely agree with the need for the EXPIRED category to be addressed. Could we at least break out a new category called "COMPLETE" or something? Then my deals that have actually closed aren't hovering over the top labelled as expired. (Not very motivating language imo!!)
TIA for your consideration!

* I think the office waits to change to closed after final payments/commissions are disbursed to agents. So I still feel that there should be another category of status to reflect this. tia!

Hey Nancy,
In SkySlope, only an admin or broker can mark a file as Closed. I would recommend reaching out to your broker or office admin to see why they have not marked your property file as closed in our system, especially if all items on the checklist are marked completed!
