Ability to Create a Buyer File Without an Address

Sometimes our agents put a buyer under agreement with an agency agreement but don't have a contract on a property yet. It would be awesome if there was a way for them to start a buyer file, kind of like a listing and convert it over to a transaction once they have a property. For now they just fill in a dummy address as a placeholder which can get confusing.

Thanks!

This feature needs to be made a priority. Buyer Agency agreements and unaccepted offers need to be able to be reviewed by administrators and potential RE Auditors.

The State of Missouri REQUIRES that we maintain and audit Buyer Agreements in EXACTLY the same way that we do listings. Getting it done in forms is fine. Now what do we do with it after it's executed? Where will the state auditors go to find and audit these files?

Hi Jessica!

Charleigh from the Product team here at SkySlope. Thank you so much for reaching out! At this time, we do not have an update for you. However, I do believe that a new feature the team is working on for SkySlope Forms could be a solution for this! We will be sure to keep you updated on any progress! In the meantime, agents can create buyer files within Forms. However, brokers and other admin will not be able to access these files at this time.

If you have any questions on creating a buyer file in Forms, please feel free to reach out to our Support team anytime! They can be reached via chat at support.skyslope.com, via email at [email protected], or via phone at 1-800-507-4117.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hi,

Any update on this issue? We have agents on the initial buyer paperwork that have not found a home when filling it out. When will we be seeing some movement on it. It is really important.

Thank you.

Just want to put in my two cents that this is a very important problem.

I agree that this is a basic flow of real estate.  In hot markets, you will often have several offers written for buyers that you still need to check and track, but because they didn't win the offer or got backup position, you don't actually set up a transaction yet.

It really needs to be in Skyslope and not forms because the offers still need to be reviewed by an admin or managing broker. It is best to have all the approvals in one place and a task list.

Yes, Our office need to be aware when one of our agents signs a buyer agency agreement with a new buyer. The should be able to create a new buyer listing list like a seller listing. this is very basic and I am surprised there is no way to do this.
