BackAgent has separate transactions for Leases vs Sales , why don't you?

I used BackAgent at my last Broker and it is WAAAAAYYYYY  better when it comes to transaction management.    You must have separate transactions for Renters vs Buyers.    A renter does not have TITLE COMPANY.   Yet there are required fields for it.     The fields used are NOT the exact same so you need to create a page specifically for Rentals.    In your instructional video you only cover SALES  and not leases so you don't even address what to do with the blanks that are required but have not relevant info.   The transactions even have different documents.     A commercial lease is going to be different than a Residential Lease.

Also if I put that a house is built prior to 1978,  it should REQUIRE that a Lead Paint Addendum be added.   If I say that it is in an HOA,  the HOA addendum should be REQUIRED.

When will this be improved? It doesn't make sense that such a big company can't fix this huge time waster in 4 years.

The original comment is from 3 years ago. This is a much needed improvement. What is the progress on this?

Hi Brian!

Kallie from the Product Team here at SkySlope. Thank you for reaching out and providing us with this additional context. I have documented this request to relay this information back to our product management team. The more up-votes we get in this request will help with priority. Would you be interested in a phone call with the product manager available, if we have further questions on this issue?

Thanks again and have a great day!

I agree that there needs to be major improvement in Skyslope, especially on the lease transaction side. The system is clunky and takes too much time for unnecessary items. There seems to be no customization for entering leases. It makes no sense that this system is so user unfriendly when so many other systems have been doing it better for years. And seeing that the original comment is from 3 years ago with no improvements confirms the theory that no improvements will be made.

I am in the same line with Jere. I didn't find a type as "Residential Lease" but did find "TX Rental Transaction". However, it still is asking for Title Company info and does not let me move forward. When you are giving service for such a big company as eXp your services are expected more complete and as big, and when there is a glitch as such must be attended to ASAP when you hear some feedbacks. Perhaps, other agents have not seen any better system but for those like who has experience with BackAgentf it is not acceptable to see such short comings. For this reasons I use HAR TransactionDesk; however, to get with the eXp system for funding I still need to use SkySlope.

I have selected residential lease only representing the landlord and the transaction is still requiring me to put in a title and/or escrow and attorney. information.  I've logged out and back in to see if the error was corrected but it hasn't.  While I'm new to using Skyslope I already see some serious flaws in how this is working.  Also, I forgot to upload one of the non-accepted applications but now that I've put in an accepted / closing date for the rental listing, I can't get back to my former checklist.  There is no where to go back and add something that I need.  Seriously, tiring and huge time drain reading the manual -- didn't at all help -- not happy!

Hey Jere,

Thanks for the feedback. I can see where some additional logic/automation would help for lead paint. On the lease feedback - we have a checklist type called "Residential Lease" that removes requirements on title/escrow/attorney. It's possible that the office level settings have not enabled that. Commercial lease also has different requirements.

I've sent that feedback to your brokerage's CSM to review and look into any possible adjustments.
