RequesterHaving issues with users uploading docs to cancelled files. I think it may be due to the new Global Search, they find the file and just upload.
For example - 123 Main St listing goes into escrow then cancels. User may mark the file as Cancel (pending) but awaiting some signatures. Once the file has required docs, I approve the cancellation (cancel app). Then the listing goes back under contract there is a new transaction started-all is fine and good.
It is now the next week, user searches 123 Main, clicks on "cancel app" rather than the correct "pending" file and uploads docs to the wrong file without realizing.
I think it would be a good fail safe to lock the file once approved as cancelled. Maybe give admins the ability to upload to these files, or the file can be reopened is further docs are found to have been missing.
This certainly would help me from double reviewing docs and then I wouldn't have to keep my eye on the status of the file to accept docs or not. This has happened twice this week in my system, just for reference.
Let me know if there are other things I am missing. I would love to think through all scenarios.
Thanks!!!!
