Can you please remove the checkbox requirement under contact for Trust, Companies & entities

the company name is entered but as you can see it will not show at the top because the checkbox is not checked. Is there a reason this is required. This happens on every file for either the seller or buyer contact. If a name is entered in the "Company Name" field without a check in the box the name will not appear at the top. Thanks!

Hi, I get this. Maybe you don't understand.

 

Many times ppl fill in the company field (because they have a client which is indeed a company) but without checking the checkbox for the company the name will not show at the top. Why is the checkbox a requirement for the name to show at the top when the company field is completed? If it helps I can video chat as most of the support over chat seems to go. no where

Hi, can you elaborate? Selecting or not selecting the checkbox switches what fields as required or not?  I have not encountered what you're referring to

Happy to elaborate here and I figured screenshots might be the best to explain this. 

In this screenshot, the checkbox is unchecked - which means the buyer's first and last name is the only required fields that are indicated by the red asterisk. 

In this screenshot, the checkbox is checked - which means the company name the only required fields which is indicated by the red asterisk. 

 

I hope this clears up the confusion for you!

Hey Pierre, 

Thanks for taking the time to provide us this feedback and screenshot! That really helps. The reason we have that checkbox for Seller/Buyer is a company, trust or other entity, is it switches what fields are required to continue forward with your file. If you select that checkbox, the only information required is the company name, which will also display at the top. We understand in these scenarios you might not know the representative's names but do know the name of the trust or LLC that is buying or selling the home.

If you want the company name to appear at the top of the details for your transaction you will need to select that checkbox. You are always able to enter in the full details of the contact if you wish, but the only required field is company name OR first, and last name.
