RequesterHello SkySlope,
First, let me start by saying SkySlope is an EXCELLENT company with an EXCELLENT digital concept. I started in real estate in 1997, and this is my first experience using SkySlope this week. I immediately noticed a "HUGE" inefficiency with such an efficient company.
For example, I am in the midst of completing a sales contract, which of course entails lots of other addenda. So I started my envelope by adding one document and noticed your system does not allow us to "label" the envelope until you are ready to send it. I just got off the phone with your support staff, and they are the ones who brought to my attention that you "name/label" the envelope when sending. The representative said that I "label" the envelope right before I send it by "writing in the subject line."
Here's the problem with that. SkySlope is an excellent system that allows us to do "in a virtual world" what we would be doing in a "physical world." So imagine if I had quite a few envelopes to mail today with 6 different contracts I'm working on. I would have to keep stuffing "blank" envelopes with various documents. Now I have 6 envelopes on my desk that are unlabelled. I go to lunch and come back to continue stuffing these envelopes. The only way I would know which envelope is which is for me to keep pulling documents out of the envelope to make sure I have the right one. Even worse, imagine I have an assistant, and I tell them to grab the envelope off my desk that is going to (such and such address). My assistant would immediately ask me which one is (such and such address)? I would have to tell my assistant to just start pulling stuff out of the envelopes to see which one is which.
My point is this: we should be able to "name/label" the envelopes "BEFORE" we send them out for the purposes of efficiency. I want to be able to name my envelopes with the property address, my client's name, or whatever the heck I want to label the envelope (maybe by subject). Would you PLEASE incorporate this feature into your system. Whoever came up with the SkySlope concept did a great thing. I realize innovation constantly evolves as well, so that is why I am making this request. Thank you in advance for hearing me out.
Sincerely,
Valerie McLaughlin

AgentHi Valerie!
Eric, Product Manager for DigiSign, here! Thanks for taking the time to submit this feedback. I do have some good new. We are currently hard at work on a update to DigiSign, which does allow you to "name" your envelope prior to sending. Envelopes will still inherit the property name by default, but if you want to change that to something that makes more sense for you, you'll be able to do that and come back to send it later on.
We'll send out ore information about this once we get closer to launching this update. Stay tuned!
