We have a lot of docs that can be submitted for both the listing and the contract as well as items that can be used for more than one checklist item. Currently our agents have to upload and assign the same doc twice. It would be great if they could be assigned more than once.

Thanks for the additional context. We will be monitoring this one for "yes/up-votes". Don't forget to up vote for the main topic if you'd like to see the change.

Our broker requires us to upload an email at the close of escrow proving that we have asked for multiple documents. For instance, if the buyer side still needs to get us 3 items, we need to prove we have requested them 3 times and done our part. However in the checklist you have to go to each of the 3 items and attach it. It would be nice to upload the email pdf and attach it to all 3 checklist items.

Also when you are in a checklist and a document needs 2 different attachments, you have to (if you use dropbox) attach, wait for it to load, then attach the next item, wait for it to load... you can't push ctrl and grab 2 (or more) dropbox documents at once to upload!

I think I understand better now. There is an ability in SkySlope to allow a listing to be converted to a transaction without all the required documents. This way, the agent doesn't have to submit twice (once on the listing and again on the transaction). This isn't best practice "per se" and why it is a special configuration. You'd need to work through your account manager if you wanted to do this. I can facilitate if you'd like.

It would mainly be forms such as disclosures that are required to be signed by the seller for the listing agreement and then need to be signed by the Buyer when submitting the contract. A lot of agents submit their listings and contracts at the same time so when they add the disclosures to the checklists list they need two copies. In a perfect world they would submit the listing first with just the Seller's signatures on the disclosures and then the contract later on updated with the Buyer's signatures. Unfortunately that rarely happens, they usually submit them at the same time.

Got it. Yes, this will remain the same with the enhancement. Can you give me an example of the types of docs you have for multiple checklist items?

Thanks for the reply Buck. However, I am referring to one document being assigned to multiple checklist items. Currently when you assign a doc to a checklist item the item is remove from your available docs and you can no longer assign that doc to another item.

Hi Mike,

Buck, VP of Product again.Thank you for taking the time to submit a suggestion!

Good news! We are on track this month to release the ability to assign or un-assign multiple documents to the checklist from the "Documents List" on the documents tab. Let me know if you'd like more details but this should enhancement should directly address your enhancement request.
