RequesterThere are many, many, many situations in which documents need slight corrections. In the paper world we just write in the correction and initial it. If necessary we have one or more of the clients do the same and this way the entire document does not need to be re-written.
In the digital age you can do this in Docusign by simply adding the correction to an already signed doc, and sending it out for signatures.
In Skyslope currently, you either have to fix the original and resend the entire doc to all parties again (which is a HUGE inconvenience to the client if say a Sellers Disclosure or Listing Agreement or Purchase Agreement) (all 3 of which frequently need changes to small for an Addendum) or you need to save a PDF of the signed or partially signed doc, then upload it as a new doc, then add a fix and or signature line and initials, then send back out to the parties. Super confusing and time consuming.
So the fix is in a partially signed or even complete doc, have a feature in the dots menu "Correct Document" where you can go back in, add anything you want and/or strikethrough something and if it is necessary resend to all parties for a simple initial that they see and approve the change. If you want even more compliance in the digital client view pre-initial highlight the changes in blue so they can see nothing else was altered in the doc and they are only initialing the changes in blue. (then of course that highlight would disappear after all the necessary initials.)
Point is to make it simple to adjust something or fix a mistake without having to have everyone take their time and get frustrated redoing docs or having to download, upload, re build etc...

RequesterYES!!! This is a great suggestion as I have personally heard the same complaint from agents within our firm. They are annoyed with how much extra time they have to spend correcting documents. Everything Jay mentioned above is on point. Skyslope, please hear this request and come up with a solution.
