RequesterWhen a legal entity is the buyer or seller of a property one of the questions you ask is who is the representative, you should also ask the role of the representative. Then digisign should have the REPRESENTATIVE sign and their title should be automatically attached. Currently digisign has the Entity sign, and we all know that entities aren't people and can't sign.
Example. The Seller is The Smith Family Revocable Living Trust
The Representative is Susan Jones
Her Title is Trustee,
Currently, digisign automatically makes The Smith Family Revocable Living Trust as the signee
But it SHOULD, instead, be Susan Jones, trustee
Yes, I know you have a complicated workaround, but sometimes there are dozens of pages that need signatures, and we have to go back and change every single signature and initial. It takes so much time that I'm tempted to use your competitor because they do it automatically.
But at least I do it, I supervise lots of agents and about 50% of transactions I review that have trusts or other legal entities and who use digisign, have to be sent back because the signature wasn't valid. You're other solution of having the signer edit their signature in digisign is even worse than the one where we create a second "other" person to sign, at least as agents we understand why it is important, but most of our clients do not.
Please fix this, I've seen this mentioned many MANY times, but you are doing nothing about it.
We are being courted by a couple other systems that promise us the moon about transaction management. This might really be the dealbreaker when it comes time to renew or not. Please take this request seriously.

RequesterI agree with this post. I don't get how this hasn't been corrected by now.

AgentHi Shannon!
Charleigh from the Product team here at SkySlope. Thank you for reaching out! We understand it can be frustrating when things don't work as expected, especially when it lengthens the amount of time in your workflow. I will get this feedback to our product management team for their review and keep this thread up to date with any changes.

RequesterSeconding this. I have used Skyslope for only a month now and this has been a consistent issue for my team. I spoke to my Skyslope rep and her workaround is for us to use a textbox to add the word "Trustee" after each signing field.
That takes something that should be 5 minutes of work and makes it 10.
Imagine the agent comes back to say a name was misspelled... and I can't just swap out one document in the envelope. I have to make the correction and recreate the entire signing. And make a textbox reading "trustee" after each signing field. Now 5 minutes of work has become 20 minutes of work. My team processes between 50-90 files a month.... we can't afford to double or quadruple the time it takes to write a contract and send it out for signature.
Docusign/Zipforms and TransactionDesk all have this figured out already. You can create a contact card that specifics the legal entity name, the signing name and title, and you're able to control/change the person's initials before you send for signature.
Why doesn't Skyslope have this feature?

AgentHi Kristina!
Bailey from the Product Team here at SkySlope, thank you for reaching out and providing us this detailed feedback. What percentage of transactions would you say fall into this category?
Thanks again and have a great day!
