.heic Files
AnswerediOS11 and newer default pictures to a .heic file that cannot be opened on Windows computers.
The only way to fix this currently is to have the iPhone user change their settings from High Efficiency to Most Compatible before capturing and uploading the photo.
We were recommended to use a 3rd party application to convert these files from Skyslope Support. We will not be doing this because of the private data in these documents.
For workflow efficiency, these documents need to be jpg or pdf so that multiple admins can assist.
Possible solutions:
Prevent .heic files from being uploaded entirely.
Convert the file inside of Skyslope to jpg without a 3rd party.
