Email a file from gmail

I'm curious if emailing a file (organizational file full of loose email messages with and without attachments regarding a topic- in this case an address) from gmail to the corresponding address in Skyslope is a possibility? I would like the option to delete the file from my email inbox yet keep if need for future legal reference regarding the list or sale of a property. Thanks!
