The "Update Agent" button now notifies Admins and TCs if they are the owner of the file!  TCs have always been notified if they are working on a file for an agent.

Is there a way to update the TC without updating the agent?

I cannot find where the Agents can update the Auditor. I have logged in as an Agent, and there is no such button...please help.

A separate button to update the TC would definitely be preferred.

To answer Logan's question, you can send an email to the TC from the documents section and that will not notify the agent, but it does not send a snap shot of the checklist. Which is where a feature like this one would be strong as it would give the TC an at a glance way to see what is needed for the file.

Hey Heather, currently Agent's cannot update the Auditor. There is an auditor notification that the auditor can set that will send them an email once a document is uploaded to the checklist. However we do see how a feature like this would be stronger as it would send a snap shot email to the auditor showing the whole checklist.

Thanks for the comments. This feature request has gotten so much support that we had to go tell our product team. They will consider the best way and time to implement this feature. Continue to comment however and let us know what you want from this feature so we can make it the best we can for you.

I've had feedback from a user that seems to fit within the vein, to help choose to either update the Transaction Coordinator on the file, or only update the Agent on the file. This is the description of the way this Auditor would want to use the feature.

"If there is a note on the RPA that I only need to cue the TC on, I would like to be able to do that through the system, as I know I can email her, but it would be great if I could type comments into the box that she could see as an update for that one item. Same if I needed to ask or note to an agent something that is really their domain to answer (not the TC) but I would like to just communicate on that one item, not generate a laundry list of items/comments that they were previously sent via the coordinator."

    Thanks!

I agree on both fronts. I agree it would be beneficial to only update the TC with a snapshot of the checklist. And beneficial to update the Auditor with a snapshot of the checklist. The feature notification to update the Auditor when a doc is uploaded doesn't work very well because if an agent/TC uploads more than one doc, then the Auditor receives an email notification for each doc. This is inundating, so I've turned that feature off.

Auditors can get enough notifications....we don't need a TC dinging us every time they load 1 doc...

I would like to piggy back on this and mention that the 100% checklist completion notification only works the first time a checklist reaches completion.  If our broker rejects a file from the checklist, the agent fixes the file and re-uploads, the broker does not get a second notification about 100% completion.  This is notification is labelled misleadingly for one because it does not notify you every time a checklist gets to 100%.

    Shouldn't it?

If you'd like me to resubmit this as a separate post, I do not mind doing so at all, so please let me know.

This is an awesome idea and would definitely help to streamline the process for our auditors who are very busy as it is.  Very quickly it becomes a waste of time to check back into Skyslope every now and then to see if there are any updates.  Receiving notifications would help to alleviate the guess work on our auditor's end.

This would be great, especially when an agent writes a comment on the checklist tab but doesn't add any documents.  That way they can notify us of something needing our attention without uploading a doc.
