If you are an Agent, and curious about how file sharing works in SkySlope Forms, take a look at the frequently asked questions below to learn more.
How does file sharing work in SkySlope Forms?
Brokerage admins can connect an individual to the agents they work with. Once connected, the individual (such as a Transaction Coordinator, Co-Agent, or Team) will be able to access the agent’s Forms files, and manage new Forms files from start to finish (everything from creating files and filling forms, to preparing and sending envelopes for signature).
What can my TC access?
Once file sharing access has been granted, the individual will be able to access all of your Forms files, including all forms and envelopes in those files. For a more detailed breakdown of what they can access, take a look at the charts below.
What do I need to do to share access to my files?
There is nothing you need to do on your end! File sharing is managed by your brokerage’s admin team.
Will the individual have the same functionality as me (the agent)?
After file sharing has been enabled, the individual will have most of the same functionality as an agent, with a few exceptions. They are not able to edit an agent’s Forms Template, edit an agent’s Forms Libraries, or edit an agent’s User Profile in SkySlope Forms.
I’m seeing changes in my file that I didn’t make. What should I do?
Have no fear! That is your TC/Co-Agent/Team working on your behalf within your Forms File. If you have any questions about who has file sharing access granted by your brokerage and is working in your files, please contact your brokerage admin.
Can the individual create Forms files for me?
Yes, they can create new Forms files on your behalf. When they creates a file for you, you will be the primary agent on the file; they will automatically be listed as an “Other” contact, allowing them to stay updated on the file.
Can the individual fill forms and send envelopes for me?
Yes, they will be able to search for and add forms based on your available Forms libraries. Once forms are added, they can fill forms, and prepare and send envelopes, on your behalf. For more information, click here.
Can the individual manage my sent envelopes?
Yes, they can manage any existing Forms envelopes, and any Forms envelopes that they prepare themselves. They can check the envelope status, send reminders, review the envelope history, and cancel signing.
Will it be clear to my client that I am working with a TC/Co-Agent/Team?
Yes! Any time someone sends your client an envelope of forms to sign, there will be a message at the bottom that states "sent by [TC/Co-Agent] on behalf of [Agent]", so that it's clear who prepared the envelope. Your client can also reply to that invitation to sign if they have any questions, and their email will be sent to you as the agent, and the person who prepared the envelope.
Can they sign Forms envelopes that require my signature as the agent?
No. While they can prepare and send envelopes that require your signature, the envelope will be sent on your behalf, and only you can fulfill the required signatures/initials. When they send an envelope on your behalf, they will not be prompted to sign the envelope; the invitation to sign will be sent to you as the primary agent.
Can my Forms TC/Co-Agent create my SkySlope Listing and Transaction files, and link them to my Forms files?
Yes, as long as you have TC Access enabled in your SkySlope account, they will be able to create SkySlope Listing and Transaction files on your behalf. During that process, they will be able to select the associated Forms file to link to the Listing/Transaction file. For more information about turning on TC Access within SkySlope, click here.
What if my TC/Co-Agent isn't part of my brokerage?
At this time, file sharing in SkySlope Forms is limited to in-house transaction coordinators. Your brokerage admin is responsible for managing file sharing access between the agents and their TCs/Co-Agents/Teams, and the functionality is only available for in-house user accounts under that brokerage.
