Creating Forms Files for an Agent
Once you've had file sharing enabled by your brokerage admin, you will be able to create Forms files for yourself, and for the agents you work with.
1. Log in to your SkySlope Account.
2. Click on the Apps icon in the upper-right > Select Forms.
3. Click Create New File.
4. Use the File Owner drop-down menu to select the agent you're creating the file for. The selected agent will be designated as the primary agent on the file.
5. Enter all Contact and Property details for the file.
6. Name the file.
7. Click Create to finish creating the file for your agent.
After you've created the file, you will be prompted to add forms from the agent's Forms Libraries.
Create a Forms File Using Forms Templates
If your agent uses Forms Templates, you will have access to their Personal and Brokerage Forms Templates.
A Forms Template is a select group of forms bundled together, with pre-filled information that is consistent across files, to make adding and sending forms faster. For example, your agent may have created a "Listing Template" that includes a listing agreement with their preferred terms and all of the necessary listing disclosures. When you create a Listing file on their behalf, you can use the agent's Listing Template as a jumping-off point and automatically add the pre-filled listing agreement and disclosures.
1. Follow steps 1 through 6 above, under Create a Forms File for an Agent.
2. At the bottom of the page, after you name the file, you will see "Would you like to start with one of your templates?" The list of available Personal and Brokerage Templates will be dependent upon who you are creating the file for. For example, if you're creating a file on behalf of Amy Agent, you will only see Amy Agent's templates available to choose from. Select a Template to add when the file is created.
3. Click Create to finish creating the file for your agent.
After you've created the file, the file will open, and you will see that the Template forms were automatically added. You can click Add Forms to select more forms to add, or select the forms and prepare to send them for signatures.
Important Notes
- When an individual creates a file on someone else's behalf, that individual is always added to the file as an Other Contact.
- When an individual creates a file on someone else's behalf, that individual will be added to all Envelopes sent from that file as Receives a Copy to keep them in the loop.
