Thank you to all who attended the Q3 Fireside CEO chat! If you registered for the webinar you should have received an email with a recording. If you would like a recording, please contact Support or your account manager.
The following questions were asked during the chat. Some of them were answered live but others we didn't have time to get to. If you have additional questions, you can post them in the comment section at the bottom of this post.
Q: Do we have home warranty ordering in WI? I haven't seen that option on our dashboards?
A: We have not launched Home Warranty in WI yet. Home Warranty is currently available in California, Texas, and Arizona. We are currently evaluating our release timeline for additional states next year.
Q: Is there an update on fixing emails sent through Skyslope? Right now, recipients' replies are going to a non-reply email.
A: This is an issue we are looking into and will prioritize to resolve in one of the upcoming releases.
Q: Will you be able to start a form with just the buyer’s name and no address? I get buyer agreements signed before we ever find a property.
A: Yes, you can start a form with just a few basic field requirements.
Q: Will we be able to create data templates for the forms so that we can have information auto-populate?
A: Yes! Data templates are a part of our new forms product.
Q: If we are writing an offer but we don’t have an acceptance date yet, will we be able to update that?
A: Yes, you will be able to update your form’s fields after creation.
Q: The universal search is a great feature, but is there any plan to sort those results by status? I.e.: Pending results show first, then canceled, then archived?
A: This is great feedback! We are evaluating enhancements to our global search feature and adding a filter is one of the top candidates.
Q: Kentucky requires a time stamp on any signature/initial as well as a date stamp. Can you make this happen?
A: We have a date and timestamp feature in DigiSign 2.0. Date and time stamps will also be available in DigiSign 3.0. You can check out this tutorial for more information on how to add date and time stamps in DigiSign 2.0.
Q: Will there ever be guest access to transactions?
A: This is great feedback! We envision that being a feature in the future. For now, we recommend using the Shared Bundles feature for instant document access.
Q: For broker created forms, would those need to be sent to Skyslope anytime we update one of our forms to have those integrated?
A: Our vision is that our Software Support team will assist in helping maintain your brokerage forms. However, we’re not there yet and will have more information as this product is further along in development.
Q: When will Knoxville have integrated MLS in SkySlope? This function doesn't work currently.
A: Please reach out to our MLS team at cs@skyslope.com.
Q: Are there still plans to enhance access within SkySlope to include read-only access?
A: We don’t currently support read-only access but we understand there are roles within a brokerage that you may want to have read-only. We are currently exploring a solution for these additional types of access.
Q: Can DigiSign 3.0 be used to make a counter-offer?
A: You can use DigiSign to sign any document, including counteroffers. DigiSign 3.0 will have the same capability.
Q: Are there any plans for a calendar within the platform or a way to integrate Google calendar?
A: Our tasks functionality syncs with Google, iCal, and Outlook calendars. Here is a tutorial on how to integrate.
Q: When I enter the MLS number, it regularly pulls a different listing with the same MLS in another location - how do we work around that?
A: This will resolve itself with the addition of Skye to Transaction files. In the meantime, we recommend not using the MLS Search button but instead searching by address (via the Google search) when creating a file. This will pull from your current MLS if the integration exists. Here's a quick tutorial.
Q: Will a Transaction Coordinator be able to emulate an agent and assist with their forms?
A: This will depend on state requirements but in states that allow TCs to initiate forms, we anticipate having that functionality.
Q: Will staff ever have the ability to bypass Skye to go directly to the input pages? Our power users say they can work faster by simply tabbing through fields.
A: We’ve done several tests that prove Skye is faster however, we understand there may be fields that aren’t being captured in Skye. We are going to do a working session with our users to gather more feedback. Please email prodsquad@skyslope.com if you would like to join.
Q: Many of our agents are having to pay their annual renewal to zipForm for the Oregon Real Estate Forms. When forms become available in SkySlope will the fee they already paid be sufficient or will there be an additional fee at that time?
A: We do not anticipate charging for forms. When it comes to new features, we have never raised prices or charged additional fees and our goal is to maintain that philosophy as we release forms. However, we’ll know more as we get farther along with releasing to each state.
Q: Will we ever have the ability to merge documents as well as split them?
A: This suggestion has already been posted in our Feature Suggestion Forum! You can give it an upvote here. We prioritize our product roadmap based on the popularity (aka upvotes) of suggestions.
Q: At any point, will the Sources field become editable without having to utilize the Other option?
A: Another great product suggestion! You can upvote that request in our Feature Suggestion Forum here. We prioritize our product roadmap based on demand from the Feature Suggestion page.
Q: We'd like to see the commission notes information transfer from a listing to a transaction when they are converted. When will that happen?
A: This is a great suggestion. We have added that to our Feature Suggestions Forum - you can find that ticket here.
Q: Do you have a state list to show what states you will hit first?
A: We should have a state by state rollout plan in 2020.
Q: Will Forms sync with the MLS and auto-populate the information for listings, etc.?
A: Yes! Our goal is to eliminate double-data entry completely.
Q: Right now you can't do much on the app. Will the app have any new updates?
A: Yes, mobile app enhancements are a part of our 2020 initiatives.
Q: Our admins are requesting that when they add an agent the agent is also added to the DigiSign directory. This way admins do not have to reenter the agent’s information when sending out hiring paperwork, etc. through a DigiSign Template.
A: This is a great suggestion! You can upvote this in our Feature Suggestions Forum here.
Q: Will there be a way to eventually fully purge a file from the system to meet DRE & Attorney suggestions to not retain longer than 3 years?
A: Please reach out to your account manager to learn more about file purging for compliance.
Q: Will the order of transactions and listings ever change to "last touched" instead of "originally entered" date?
A: This is an item you can enter into our Feature Suggestions Forum here. We prioritize our product roadmap based on demand from the Feature Suggestion page.
Q: For agents who have multiple states access, will Forms have the ability to know which forms they would need access too?
A: Yes! Our system will allow agents to have access to multiple states form libraries (as necessary).
