Q: Is there an update to an upgrade to API?

Q: What is an API?
A: Application Programming Interface - A standardized way to get and push data in and out of software.
Q: One thing that happened recently was when an agent was adding her listing, it had previously been listed with another company that used SkySlope and it kept pulling in the old agent's data
A: Please be sure to instruct your agents to use the address search when creating a file to import MLS information, rather than the “MLS Search” button.
Q: Is it still going to be a REST?

Q: Will there be additional reminders to agents that listings are expired in the system? Not sure if automated emails go out but they should.
A: Those notifications exist already within the agent's profiles. They can go in and set those notifications up from within their “My Profile” area. You can also set standard notifications for your agents from the Master/Broker account.
Q: Can I set the notifications I’d like the agents to receive? Are they able to disable those notifications?
A: You can set default notifications for the company from the Master/Broker account. Agents cannot disable those.
Q: Is the cancel transaction within a transaction and withdraw only available to auditors or both agents and auditors?
A: This feature will be available to both - but only auditors will be able to fully cancel. Agents will still submit the cancelation/withdrawn property for review to their auditors like they do now. For a preview, view the tutorial here.
Q: When we create a checklist, we should be able to add "Sub Categories."
A: We do have the ability to add categories such as “Sales Documents,” “Disclosures,” “Reports,” and “Closing Documents.” If you have additional suggestions, please let us know in the Feature Suggestions Forum.
Q: Is the new Lonewolf integration available now?
A: The new LoneWolf integration is in beta testing and will be available soon
Q: Will Skye be coming to input transactions?
A: Yes! She will be coming to transactions with more MLS data and zipForm data as data sources. You can expect this release later this year.
Q: Did I hear correctly that Tyler said the ability to cancel a transaction or listing within the file has been implemented?
A: Correct! This feature is being released March 7, 2019 (tomorrow!). Here is a tutorial.
Q: For NHD, are we going to be able to have our own companies installed? For example, we use GEO Assurance and they were not an option previously.
A: That is our goal and will definitely be a part of the next few phases. You can reach out to our VP of Partnerships, David Hiller (firstname.lastname@example.org), who can work with you on adding them.
Q: Will home warranty be something we can turn on/off at a brokerage level?
A: Currently this is in beta so there are some unknowns at the time. When it’s available to everyone, you should have options of who sees what. In most cases, home warranty saves more than 10-12 minutes. Please email Tyler (email@example.com). He’d love to hear from you about why you may not want this turned on.
Q: Will Choice Home Warranty be added?
A: They are not a current partner but we want to work with all preferred vendors of our customers. You can reach out to our VP of Partnerships, David Hiller (firstname.lastname@example.org), who can work with you on adding them.
Q: The problem with NHD and home warranty is the billing. If we get charged it should automatically trigger an amendment to escrow or title.
A: We bill escrow and/or title and not the brokerage. The broker and agent are not charged. However, if we are missing any context, please email Tyler Smith (email@example.com).
Q: How does an agent get a reference number and submit payment for a home warranty?
A: When a home warranty is ordered in SkySlope, the home warranty, including the confirmation number, is uploaded to SkySlope within one business day of the order. If title/escrow information (officer contact info, escrow number, est. closing date) is included in the SkySlope file, the invoice is automatically sent to title/escrow.
Q: Will search show archived items as well?
A: The enhancements are still underway but the goal is you’ll be able to see all files from the global search with the status shown (canceled, active, archived, etc.). Here is an example: https://cl.ly/adc7bf75b922.
Q: It would be super helpful for our firm if we could search the individual agent's name and pull up all of their listings or transactions on one screen not just in the search bar
A: Thank you for that feedback! This is something we have planned for a later phase but we agree that we should have a results page. Here is Phase I: https://cl.ly/adc7bf75b922.
Q: Will DigiSign be able to connect to our online forms?
A: DigiSign 3.0 (and our current version) can be used to sign any form in the world. We are currently exploring a forms solution (that will tie into DigiSign) later this year. DigiSign will have RESTful APIs where you can plug to forms custom if needed.
Q: Can we get alerts (emails) when all these features go into effect? We only hear about them during these fireside chats.
A: Yep, if you go to support.skyslope.com, scroll down, and click on the link “browse articles,” you will notice all of our releases. You can follow the Release Notes and Updates section. Q: Hoping updated search allows you to get results by searching client name too, not just property address. It looks like it is supposed to do that now, but I don't think it works.
A: Searching by client name is a part of the enhancements being worked on currently, however having a results page is not in phase I. For example; finding the clients name in the dropdown of search will be phase I, however having a search results page with all of the results will be in a later phase. Q: Are improvements to how the checklists are organized and edited on the roadmap? Right now it’s very time consuming for brokers to update checklists. A drag and drop organization feature would be super helpful instead of having to reorganize them with numbers

Q: Definitely would LOVE a capability for the agent version mobile to be used by admins too for those of us who are working agents and do admin work too :)

Q: Can we opt out of using Skye? We don't have good feedback on using it at all and do not want it added to Transactions.
A: Skye will be a permanent feature in SkySlope once released for transactions. We encourage you to continue giving us feedback on Skye via the Feature Suggestions Forum.
Q: Listing and Transaction APIs--when will the APIs be released?
A: We are working on them as we speak - our goal is within the next quarter. We will keep you posted!
Q: Will the improved Audit Log include the manual comments placed in the pre-message when sending a file through DigiSign for signatures? We have needed this in the past as proof of information being told to a client for legal reasons

We are not working on the improved Audit Log just yet, so this is important feedback as our team begins to map out the enhancements. The goal is that all communication will be in the audit log, including all DigiSign correspondence and documentation, pre, during, and post.
Q: With the addition of Skye for listings, we lost the ability to import transaction details from zipForms. I hope this won't be the case for transactions, and we would love to get that ability back for listings. Thanks!
A: We hear you loud and clear! zipForm data will be added to Skye for both listing and transactions later this year (prior to the release of Skye for transactions)
Q: Any plans for dual side transactions this year?
A: As Tyler explained in the chat, we want to hear your feedback on what would improve the current solution. We want to make the experience better for our auditors and brokers but also want to keep the agent's information confidential. Please share your thoughts in our Feature Suggestions Forum.
Q: I will submit it as a Feature Suggestion but Quickbooks integration would be huge! We don't want to have to use BrokerSumo or another paid service when we are already paying so much for SkySlope & Cinc. It is a pretty basic need/want to be able to sync the commission info with Quickbooks and write commission checks through SkySlope.
A: Additional integration partners via our new APIs are certainly in our 2019 plans! Thanks for submitting!
Q: It looks like your making a number of great enhancements. Our biggest need is the ability to see commission metrics. If an agent has 10 pending transactions, why are they not able to see their total pending commissions? The data is already entered. How can we see this information?
A: We will be enhancing our reports this year. In the meantime, the Master Data Report is your best source of all data entered into SkySlope. If this is something you are not aware of, please contact us at email@example.com so we can get you access.
Q: We need a search feature for the suggestions page
A: We are working on a Feature Suggestion search on the back end, this is a limitation of the tool we use but we are working on it and agree.
Q: Is there a feature coming that allows us to move through the system in an email without having to start all over?

Q: Are you working on a merging documents feature?
A: Currently we are not but we can consider this should it get a lot of up-votes in the Features Suggestions Forum!
Q: Any chance you are planning to upgrade roles and permissions to include a "view only" option?

We are not working on the enhanced user profiles just yet, so this is important feedback as our team begins to map out the enhancements. As Tyler said, this is on the 2019 roadmap and we would love to get your thoughts on this as we build it out.
Q: We are just getting started with SkySlope. So far the biggest extra step is having to re-upload documents into the checklist after receiving a signature from DigiSign. It would be great for that to auto-replace the unsigned version

Q: Will the agents be able to access data that they can evaluate their business and how they are doing from the homepage? This is something I spoke to Tyler about when I sat down with him.
A: As Tyler mentioned, we will be working on enhancing reporting and visibility of data this year. This is something we want to accomplish so agents can make better decisions in regards to running their business.
Q: We are a brokerage that does all uploaded and data entry for agents. They do not do anything in the system other than using checklists and DigiSign. As you improve any integration with zipForms, we would love the ability to allow the agents to use this without getting the popup to apply the docs to a checklist. If we can have that ability to allow zipForms integration but no checklist connection, that would be great for our brokerage.

Q: I'm curious if there is a reason why transactions are separated from listings. I find myself going into transactions a lot then having to move over to listings to get to the right file. Seems like a combined list broke into categories might be easier. Is there a technical reason why they are separate?
A: Our files are categorized by type for easier viewing based on customer feedback. We plan on making the homepage much different in a better way and combining them. Stay tuned! You can also submit your feedback on this to the Feature Suggestions Forum!
