SkySlope + zipForm® Plus Integration - Troubleshooting Steps

Having trouble integrating your zipForm® Plus account into your SkySlope account?

If you're attempting to enter your zipForm® Plus credentials to integrate zipForm® Plus into your SkySlope account, and you're getting an error message, it's likely that your username and/or password are incorrect.

One reason that we find that the password and/or username are incorrect is because the credentials being entered are not actually for zipForm® Plus itself. They are likely for a secondary website that is used to enter zipForm® Plus such as: your MLS page or your realtor's association page (CAR, TAR). To put it simply, this means that you usually log into one website, and then click on a link in that website and you're taken right into zipForm® Plus without having to login. The login credentials for these third-party websites are often different from your zipForm® Plus login credentials. Since our integration is directly with zipForm® Plus, and not the other third-party websites, you will need your username and password specifically tied to your zipForm® Plus account. 

This article will help you retrieve your zipForm® Plus credentials to get integrated in SkySlope, and get on your way!

Retrieving your zipForm® Plus username by logging in

1. To retrieve your username that is tied to your zipForm® Plus account, you'll start by logging into your account. You can log in the same way you usually do, whether it's through your MLS page or your realtor's association page (CAR, TAR, etc).

For example, here is what the zipForm® Plus access looks like on the California Association of Realtor's website:

2. Once you've logged into zipForm® Plus, you will click on your name in the upper right corner. Then click on View Profile.

3. This will take you to your About Me page, where you can see some of your zipForm® Plus account information. This is where you can find your username that is needed to integrate with SkySlope. It should be listed under your first and last name.

Make note of your username. Be careful not to confuse your username and your email address.

Unable to login and retrieve your username?
Let's go over how to retrieve your username via email. 

1. To retrieve your zipForm® Plus username if unable to login, navigate to this web address: https://www.zipformplus.com/

2. Instead of logging into your account, click on the white link that says Forgot Username. You'll be prompted to enter the email address that is associated with your account. Enter the email address that you believe to be tied to your zipForm® Plus account.

3. Once you've entered the correct email address, you should receive an email from zipForm® Plus informing you what your username is. Make note of your username.

Once you've done that, if you feel that you may now what your password is, you can try once again to integrate your accounts by following these steps:

1. Log into your SkySlope account, using your SkySlope credentials.

2. Click on your name in the upper right corner. Click on My Account.

3. Click on the tab labeled Integrations. Click on enabled/disabled in the upper right corner.

Enter the username that you retrieved by following the steps above, and then enter what you believe your password to be.

4. Click on Save. You should see a green Success message in the upper right corner. 

 

If you're still unable to integrate, you will now need to reset your password. We know that your username is correct, as we've retrieved it right from your zipForm® Plus account. So the only thing that could be holding you back is an incorrect password. 

Resetting your zipForm® Plus Password

1. To reset your zipForm® Plus password, navigate to this web address: https://www.zipformplus.com/

2. Instead of logging into your account, click on the white like that says Forgot Password. You'll be prompted to enter the username tied to your account. Enter your username that you've retrieved from the steps above.

3. Once you've entered the correct username, you'll receive a link in your inbox that you can click on to reset your password. Go to your inbox, and click on the link to reset your password.

 

check.gifNow we've retrieved your username, and reset your password! You should now be able to successfully integrate zipForm® Plus into your SkySlope account. 

Follow these steps to integrate:

1. Log into your SkySlope account, using your SkySlope credentials.

2. Click on your name in the upper right corner. Click on My Account.

3. Click on the tab labeled Integrations. Click on enabled/disabled in the upper right corner.

Enter the username and password that you've retrieved, and click on Save. You should see a success message in the upper right corner.

 

check.gifOnce you've integrated your account, you can access your zipForm® Plus docs from within your SkySlope account.

Follow these steps to access your zipForm® Plus docs:

1. From any page, click on your brokerage logo in the upper left corner to be taken to the home page.

2. From the home page, click on the icon labeled Working Docs.

3. Once in Working Docs, click on the tab labeled zipForm® Plus.

4. On the left side of the page, you will see a list of your zipForm® Plus transactions. Click on the address/transaction name to open that transaction and access the documents. 

 

From here, you can email or print the documents, move them into a property file in SkySlope, or move them into DigiSign to send out for signatures.
