How to Cancel Transaction and Reactivate Listing

If you've created a Listing file for your sellers, and then went under contract, but the deal fell through, there is an easy way to restore your Listing back to active to add the new sale. You would just need to cancel the Transaction, and in the process, you will be able to opt to reactivate the listing. Let's go over the process.





1. From the SkySlope home page, click on Manage Transactions. Then locate the file you want to cancel. If you have to, use the search bar to locate the file.

Once you've located your file, you will notice that the line turns blue when your cursor hovers over it. Now, locate the action icons on the right side of the page. The button you want to click to cancel your Transaction looks like a circle with a diagonal line through it. Click on the cancel circle to cancel your Transaction.



2. After clicking on the cancel circle, you should see a pop-up asking you to leave a note about why you're cancelling the file. Enter in a note (optional), and then click on Submit.

3. After clicking on Submit, if there is a Listing tied to your Transaction that you need to reactivate, you will see a pop-up that says "Would you like to reactivate the listing attached to this transaction?" Click on Yes to reactivate your Listing



That's all it takes! Your Transaction will now be Cancelled/Pending Approval until your admin approves the cancellation, and the reactivated Listing can be found under Manage Listings.
